Games like Maniac Mansion on iPad
3 of the 4 modern alternatives to Maniac Mansion (1987) run on iPad. The cheapest is The Excavation of Hob's Barrow at € 12,49. 2 are made by independent developers.
The iPad is the best mobile device for classic games: the screen suits strategy, adventure and management titles that are cramped on a phone, and several classic remasters ship iPad-specific versions. Pair a controller and it handles action games too.
Prices, platform availability and Steam Deck compatibility can change at any time. Always check the store page before buying.
