WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! is a 2003 handheld minigame collection developed by Nintendo R&D1 for the Game Boy Advance. Framed by Wario's greedy scheme to get rich by making video games with his oddball friends, it throws players into a frantic barrage of five-second "microgames."

Each microgame demands a single quick action, such as dodging, grabbing, jumping, or pressing at just the right moment, all controlled with only the D-pad and one button, with the pace accelerating relentlessly as players string successes together across themed sets. Its absurd humor, deliberately crude and eclectic art, catchy tunes and inventive brevity made it unlike anything else at the time, and clearing sets unlocked bonus modes and remixed challenges.

WarioWare launched an enduring and endlessly creative franchise built around bite-sized chaos across many Nintendo platforms and control schemes. The original has been re-released through digital services, and its rapid-fire design has inspired numerous imitators in the microgame and party-game space.
