Fallout 2
Fallout 2 is a 1998 role-playing game developed by Black Isle Studios, set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland decades after nuclear war. Players take on the role of a tribal descendant of the first game's hero, searching a retro-futuristic ruined America for a device to save their struggling village.
The game expanded on its predecessor with a larger world, more quests and towns, and a signature blend of dark humor, pop-culture references, and grim survival. Its open-ended design let players tackle problems through combat, diplomacy, stealth, or specialized skills, while a turn-based system governed by action points shaped tense tactical battles. A karma and reputation system meant choices carried lasting consequences across the wasteland.
