Killzone
Killzone is a 2004 first-person shooter developed by the Dutch studio Guerrilla Games, an ambitious science-fiction war game set amid a bitter interplanetary conflict between the human ISA and the militaristic Helghast. It arrived with considerable hype as a would-be flagship shooter for its console.
The game aimed for a gritty, weighty style of combat, emphasizing atmosphere, a war-torn tone, and a sense of heft in its weapons across a campaign that let players experience the fight from the perspectives of four different characters, each with distinct strengths.
