Toonstruck
Toonstruck is a 1996 adventure game developed by Burst Studios. It stars Christopher Lloyd as Drew Blanc, a jaded cartoon animator who is sucked into the bright animated world of his own creation and must help its inhabitants build a device to defeat the villainous Count Nefarious and find a way back home.
The game combined live-action footage of Lloyd with lavish hand-drawn cartoon environments and characters, backed by a strong voice cast that included Tim Curry, to create a genuine interactive cartoon. Its zany humor, polished traditional animation, and inventive puzzles won it admirers, though a planned second half was cut and never released, leaving its story on an abrupt cliffhanger despite much of the material reportedly having been produced.
Toonstruck later found new life through a digital re-release for modern PCs, allowing a new generation to enjoy its blend of live action and classic animation.
